Being born into a military family, I had my fair share of exploring. It was the expected change that came every few years (home, friends, culture, etc.) that sparked my passion for photography. The drive to capture my experiences and adventures truly kept me grounded over the years, and I sought out the opportunity to further improve my craft through an education.
During my years in college, the process of building my personal brand as a photographer piqued my creative interests more over time. Starting from scratch using specific colors or design elements to create logos, watermarks, and websites that gave a sense of personality to a brand was just so much fun! I assisted classmates with mock-ups and ideas to get their branding off the ground (in addition to my own) since it was such an enjoyable experience. From there I’ve advanced my design skills into web development with HTML5 and CSS coding. The structured aspect of front end development intrigued me just as much as the artistic facet - so much so that I’m currently furthering my education on the subject matter!
After graduating with a BFA in Digital Photography, my other creative interests began to flourish. Discovering my passion for cosplay and candle making allowed me to tap into my expressive spirit with capturing the essence of the characters and video games I wanted to bring to life.
I continue to let my passions for design, photography, and all things nerd lead the way to perfect my craft.
