K/DA Akali - My Photoshoot With @aj.illustrated
Holiday Matsuri was absolutely buck wild!! I sadly didn’t get the chance to participate in a lot of the craziness that’s involved with the main events of the con, but the dealer’s hall, game room, and Mariott World Center pool took up more than enough of my time and made the weekend more than worth it.
A few months before the convention, a photographer - @aj.illustrated - reached out to me via Instagram looking to collaborate by helping them build their photography portfolio! They penciled me into their HolMat schedule for a photo shoot on Saturday, the day I debuted my KDA Akali cosplay! I was incredibly nervous because all I could see in my cosplay were my mistakes and my knowing that it’s far from finished/where I’d like for it to be. With all of this self doubt I was counting on A.J. to give the illusion of completion with their shots of me and they did just that and then some!!! I almost cried while I looked through the finished photos while live on stream from the gorgeous quality from their framing to their post-work!
